This year I am partnering with Yankochick News Network (YNN) to produce video reviews of all the concerts I am attending. You can find YNN on YouTube. It's run by Alicia and she posts other Al related videos besides reviews on the channel. I really like her positive attitude, attention to detail, and enthusiasm, so I'm thrilled to be working with her. If you're familiar with The WOWAY Awards, Alicia is the one behind those videos too. It's a great relationship for both of as as Alicia gets content for her channel, and I get professional video reviews for my website.

I encourage you to watch the full video.

I hope you had as much fun watching that as I had filming it. The review section of the video was filmed right after the concert ended, so in my excitement I forgot to mention a few things. I was just at this theater two weeks ago to see Tape Face, so the area around the theater was fresh in my mind. There was ample parking in a lot close by at that time, so we planned to park there. Unfortunately it was full this time, so we had to find street parking.

Adrian, Anne, Jackie, and I had dinner at Little B's right down the street from the theater. I had left my wallet in the car and headed back to get it. On the way back to the restaurant I walked past the buses to get the lay of the land. To my big surprise, I ran into an old tour chasing buddy, NJ Steve Shilling. It was nice to see him again and catch up for a few minutes before I needed to get back to dinner. While I was chatting with Steve, apparently I missed some drama in the restaurant.

Once inside the theater I ran into a couple of people who had recognized me, or had seen the Poughkeepsie review, as well as a subscriber on the Weird Al Star Fund Facebook page. All positive feedback, so that made me feel like going to video reviews was the correct choice. But another big surprise was seeing Kevbo1987 who traveled eight hours from Cleveland to see the show.

After the show, while we were waiting under the awning in front of the theater to stay dry, we ran into Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz. He let us know that the fanfare was unscripted, and despite what "Weird Al" Yankovic said, that not everyone in the band is a Grateful Dead fan.
