The design is a parody of a poster popular at the time advertising Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace which has a young Anakin Skywalker in Darth Vader's shadow. Variations of the poster include at least three different designs. All designs have "Weird Al" Yankovic in a Star Wars font. One design says "It Begins June 29" in reference to the day Running With Scissors was released. The logo for Volcano Records and WAY Moby appear in the bottom right corner. Another design says "The Saga Begins" with no date or logos. Another design has a black bar with information about the album as well as a picture of the album cover. The logo for Attic Records, Volcano Records, and WAY Moby appear in the bottom right corner.
