Besides a star on Hollywood's Walk Of Fame, there's still yet another accomplishment Al has yet to achieve, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Fans, just like you, are uniting their efforts to get Al's name on the ballot.

Hi gang!
As most of you probably know by now, since 2004 we've been organizing a grassroots fan campaign to get Al another key entertainment honor, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his role as the genre's premier satirist. We're currently gearing up for this year's campaign drive, and we need everyone's help.
Our big project this summer will be a brand new petition we'll begin circulating around the country in the hope of collecting 10,000 signatures supporting Al, a number that reportedly is large enough to make all the difference with the Rock Hall's nominating committee. We need fans willing to not only sign it but also help us circulate it. We will especially need "field operatives" to take the petition with them to shows on Al's upcoming 2007 tour.
Fans helping out with the petition can rest assured that they will be in good company. Such folks who have already participated this year include Leslie Nielsen, the Presidents of the United States of America, Patton Oswalt, Emo Philips, and the cast and crew of "SpongeBob SquarePants." And of course, in previous years we've had the generous help of Bowling for Soup and Al's parody targets Don McLean, Greg Kihn, and the Knack's Doug Fieger. See, fellow Al fans? You're not alone. Be proud and be loud!
Of course, if you have the means, we strongly ask that you donate to the Star Fund, but if you have the extra time and energy, then we invite you to volunteer for our campaign as well. Hopefully if Al's fan base is able to reach one goal then the other will come more easily (in either order). We'll also have a number of additional projects throughout the year, so come check us out. We can't do this without your help.
